Michigan’s state and local public health agencies work closely with food regulatory officials and other stakeholders to investigate and prevent potential causes of diseases transmitted by food.

The Michigan Rapid Response Team (MI-RRT) is part of a collaborative national program involving the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and state agencies focused on improving multi-agency responses.

Michigan agencies and entities collaborate to maintain informational websites that share timely and accurate information about a range of emerging issues of interest to the public including foodborne illness.

A diverse array of food and agricultural stakeholders collaborate to help ensure we have an abundant, affordable, and safety food supply

Please Contact Us to let us know of other Michigan groups and partners focused on protecting our food supply that we should highlight in this section.
